[Chaos-l] telescope buying questions email

Nutty idea for some community service.

I'd like to setup an email for folks planning to buy a telescope for a
child or their family. Would CHAOS and RAC members be willing to weigh
in on some questions?  It could all be done over existing email lists
and summaries emailed back to the originators.

Additional question for RAC, are there any telescope clinic dates
planned in Dec/Jan?  We could get these mentioned on the "Go Ask Mom"
blog on WRAL.  Good outreach event for all those telescopes that end
up under Christmas trees to hopefully keep them in use and out of the
closet.
