Hello,
This is a very good idea. I like having the list and having both
clubs participate. However, I have one suggestion for the groups. I
think it would help to have some information on a web page as a bit of
an introduction. As Mike said, he has an article on buying a scope. We
were thinking about promoting that content to a web page on our site.
What if we gather some basic inputs from both clubs and created a web
page with the basic information for buying a scope (with a particular
spin on what works locally in NC). We could then post the content in
pages at both clubs (assuming CHAOS is willing) and at the bottom of
each page, direct people to the email list for followup questions.
This may save having to go over the basics for most folks and will
provide people who read the page and have questions a way to jump right
in. Does this make sense? Or am I still jet lagged? :-)
Thanks. -Ian
