[Chaos-l] CHAOS December 13th Meeting

Our December 13th meeting is quickly aproaching. 

The speaker this month is Mike Malaska of the Raleigh club. 

Dr. Malaska is coming to talk to us about, "Titan's Earthlike Geology". 

  

Description: 

"Recent images and data from the Cassini spacecraft have revealed Saturn’s giant moon Titan to have one of the most Earthlike landscapes in our solar system. But at a temperature just above liquid nitrogen, it is a frigid world made of different materials: methane rains, hydrocarbon lakes, benzene dunes, cyanide muds, and ice mountains. Cassini images of the Titan terrains and their corresponding Earth analogs will be presented." 




Join us Tuesday, December 13th at 7pm. We meet in the Assembly Hall at the Carol Woods Retirement Community.Carol Woods is located at 750 Weaver Dairy Rd. in Chapel Hill.
