Allen - we must have been on the same wavelength. I got an image of the
Eskimo Friday evening (from my driveway - hoping for a medoc trip in the
next week or two, especially as I have a bunch of wood to bring for the
fire). The attached image was processed including stacked, rescaled,
sharpened, and rotated...I also tried to image M42 and M81, but not happy
with the results. I've yet to really figure out how to get my darks
subtracted reasonably and the trick with M42 is getting those trapezium
stars to not wash out the rest of the nebula! I only saw your Eskimo
picture - the others didn't come through.
So in case my image of the Eskimo doesn't come through you can also see it
here:

I don't do serious astrophotography, but have fun capturing images with my
Stellacam astro video camera... As you know I use it more for spectroscopy
which I feel it is better suited. It's nice to start video chat rooms with
that output too for my friends. I'm only acquiring at 640x480 or such, not
sure if I can go bigger (It's a 811x508 CCD array)... Wish I could afford
a better CCD, but not right now!
