Hi all. I'm always amazed by the generosity of people in this hobby.
Due to our packing up the house, when i arrived at Farrington tonight,
i found i didn't have my table (meh), observing chair (umm), or
eyepieces (eep!). Tony was kind enough to lend me a 20mm, and i
managed to observe the majority of the doubles on my observing list
for the night. Only 5 more to go out of the 100 on the AL list. I
also found out where Lacerta is.
Thanks again, Tony, for turning a night which would have be hardly
better than a day at work into a night which was a _lot_ better. By
the way, the "What did i see" page seems to have disappeared from the
CHAOS web page. I have a local copy, and the entry for M45 is:
M45 (Pleiades): 410 LY away, 10 LY across. Contains about 250 stars
So, i had the right order of magnitude, but i had the coefficients
wrong. Which is part of the reason i made the page in the first place.
