Subject: Good skies last night

 

Allen,

 

The skies were very good night last night.. so good that I called Robert
around 7pm and asked on the spur of the moment if he wanted to come down,
and bring the camera.. 

 

We got everything hooked up and started with M37, then just broused around
taking photos of whatever we thought would be good. The surprises of the
night for me had to be M42, M46, M81 and M82.. but all were good. Perseus A
region also showed many galaxies.

 

I also took a photo of M3 before the clouds rolled in... low in the sky but
O.K..  

 

I wil attach (in reduced format) the photos we took last night. Probably
take 2 or 3 emails total
