All - Looks like I'm going to be able to make it out for the star party - for at least the weekend... I just submitted my registration monies.  Let's hope for good weather!  I also made sure folks in the Richmond and DC area (still Virginia) clubs got word of the event. 

I wanted to offer a talk sometime later Friday or on Saturday.  As some of you know I do some relatively inexpensive astro spectroscopy and so I'm happy to give a little talk about how it works and some data I've collected.  The most recent S&T actually featured some of the ProAm spectroscopy collaborations being done.  Just let me know so I can prepare some powerpoint slides appropriate for the event.
