Yes, this is one of those situations where I usually do show up, but the
weather right now looks as if it will keep us from doing very much.  I
couldn't expect anyone to travel too far given the forecast.  

Randy mentioned that he was planning to bring his cub scouts if we don't
cancel.  

All I can say is we have to just use our own judgement and see what happens.

I wouldn't mind going Saturday night!  allen

There is no plan B concerning the public observing session.  Allen and I
have talked to the rangers many times about setting up a "rain date" (we
suggest the next night), but they don't think it is a good idea.   So the
public session is tomorrow night.    I've been to some under these
conditions where nobody shows up.  I've been to others where people come
even though there is complete cloud cover ... wondering why our big
telescopes can't cut through the clouds.

I think Allen and I will watch the forecasts and make a decision whether
people need to drive from over here to Medoc tomorrow night.   If we don't
go tomorrow night, we might consider a private (no public) gathering
Saturday night.
