Well I didn't see everyone at Jordan lake but the turn out by the public was wonderful. Morehead
staff clicked in some 200 people that showed up to look through the telescopes even with the buffeting
wind coming in off the lake.

As Tony said the skies were great. I had a chance to look at Mercury, Venus, Jupiter and Mars.
It's nice when you have that many planets to look at. Mercury was good but we were looking through
a lot of atmosphere and eventual a tree as it headed to the horizon.

Andromeda and the Orion nebula gave the guest a nice showing. The wind actually helped the viewing
on M42. The shaking of the scope helped to define the edges of the nebula.

I hope everyone had fun last night, where ever you were.
