[Chaos-l] Tonight at MEdoc anyone?

Last night was such a good night, and as a couple pointed out, the CSC for
tonight looks absolutely AWESOME.  Is anyone interested in going to Medoc a
while tonight?  I will have to get home by 100am or maybe a little earlier,
but with this forecast I feel like I should try and take it in for a while.

 

GALAXIES were really something last night.  M51 was a stunner in Robert's
MEwlon and my scope, and M101 looked terrific in Jim Elliot's 18.  Looked a
a couple of nebulae in Monoceros, Rosette.and one Robert had added to his
list earlier.NGC 2316  and then a nice galaxy in Camelapardolis...NGC 2655.

 

Also, Robert what was the galaxy we observed framed by the four stars?  Was
the NGC 2280.?

 

Also, I was duly impressed with Hubble's Variable Nebula in Monoceros.  It
really shown a great deal of presence and stricter.  A fan shaped beauty.
