If you are not on my "contact list" and want to take part in Astronomy
Days, the biggest astronomy event in NC that is scheduled at the NC Museum
of Natural Sciences in the second half of May, please let me know and I'll
get you on the list of participants at the CHAOS table! It's a lot of
fun. Walter

Hi everyone!
It’s almost that time of year again—Astronomy Days!! Astronomy Days here
at the Museum of Natural Sciences will be May 19 and 20! We already have
some fun new things lined up! We are working with NASA to bring the
Destination Station exhibit to our museum for a few weeks leading up to
Astronomy Days, and that weekend will be the last weekend it’s here- it’s
grand finale of sorts! With this exhibit coming, our theme for Astronomy
Days 2012 will be “Manned Space Flight and The International Space Station.”

Additionally, one month before Astronomy days we are opening our NEW WING
(April 20!), the Nature Research center which includes a new Astronomy
Lab! We will be working closely with our new Astronomy Lab Director,
Rachel Smith, to do some cool new things there as well.****
** **
But we can’t have an event without our wonderful partners! The hours for
Astronomy Days are as normal- 9-5 on Saturday May 19th and 12-5 on Sunday
May 20th.****
** **
Please check your calendars and let me know if your group can come! Please
send the following information:****
** **
Name of Group****
Contact Person/Email if other than or in addition to yourself****

Please let me know no later than *Friday March 23rd*. I’ll send more
information out around that time.****
** **
As always, if you have any questions, please let me know!****

Looking forward to Astronomy Days!
