[Chaos-l] CHAOS meeting Tues April 10 - The Upcoming Venus Transit

For those of you keeping a "bucket list," you'd better have June 5, 2012
marked on your calendar because it's the only chance you or anyone else
alive at this time will have to see Venus cross the solar disk.  There is
quite a history of people observing this infrequent event over the past
several hundred years and I'll be talking about these previous iterations
as well as our own chance coming up in less than 2 months.  Please come to
the April CHAOS meeting in the Carol Woods Assembly Hall at 7 pm on Tues
night and we'll make some plans for a public observing session.  We will
also review the recently completed first edition of the Staunton River Star
