Yes we set up in the meadow coming in the picnic shelter area.  The road to
the campground turns right just before that.  On the field no lights are
usually visible.  And the fireplace is at the shelter, and it is far enough
away not to bother.

Thanks.  Please add me to the list if possible.  ActuallyI have only been to
Medoc once,  but I was impressed with what I saw then:  nice large open
field and the only lights at the park were shielded lights at the bath

Allan and All - 

Don't think I'm going to make this weekend... but wish I could.  Were you
all thinking of Sat and/or Sun?  We're into busy season with spring sports
and other kids activities.  Plus I'll be gone all next weekend (at least Fri
to Sat followed by a long sleep) at the NRC opening.

While at Staunton River Star Party I spoke to a guy named Danny Lineberger. 
He is familiar with Medoc (I understand camps there often) and was
interested in getting on the list and finding out when folks would be out so
he can observe with us.  Can we add lineberd at bellsouth.net to the medoc
distribution list?  I also copied him on this email so he isn't surprised
when he gets added :)
