Thank you folks for coming out last night and helping with our scout program
at Medoc.  We had a good number of kids, who seemed to really enjoy it.
Also the parents and leaders who were there.  How fortunate that the skies
turned out so nicely.  IT really was overall a beautiful night, and the
observing was good.

 

The seeing was variable, but I can honestly say that at times it was better
than average, and times worse.   It depended on how patient you were.  But
it must have been good enough for our visitors, as I often heard the wow.
..or Gosh.   From old and young.

 

Thanks to Robert, Michael, Alexey, Jim, Jason, Ian, for coming and bringing
their equipment and/or their expertise and willingness to talk to folks.

 

We had a number of people also from the campground..who really were most
appreciative and bubbling over with their experience.  One fellow said to me
that it was  an experience to remember for a lifetime.  I told him to come
back..they lived in Castalia!
