[Chaos-l] [Medoc-mountain-men] Farrington Point Last Night

It was a delightful evening and my thanks to Mark, Linda and Jeff for making it so as well. My mirror lock unfortunately malfunctioned and I was only able to get from Saturn to M81 and 82 before having to quit for the night. Great views with your scope Jeff, the clarity is remarkable. Can't wait to see the new one!

Your lessons about darks and lights was most appreciated Mark. I now see with your excellent photo of M5 exactly what a difference controlling the noise ratio can make. Great job and so colorful.

I believe we are now the first CHAOS members to have been required to present our permits to be using Farrington Point. At least I recall Jayme making a statement recently that he was unaware of anyone being required to do so. So if you're planning to go, don't forget yours. Thanks everyone, it was a great night. I'll get my scope fixed before next time.
