[Chaos-l] last night

I thank Michael Hrivnak, Michael Camp, Ian, Peter, Phil, Alexey, and Jason
for coming last night.  Most folks had to drive a distance further than
me..Jason was a bit closer but was coming home from a long day at Wake
Med..so it was nice to have some company with the murky skies.

 

We never did see the clearing the CSC indicated.  This was one of those
times the forecasts were all over.  Looking at the satellite around 1030
nand 1100pm.I was reminded how much this low pressure looked like a tropical
system..

 

And it pretty much shut us down last night.

 

Sorry tony.my  "magic" didn't do much good last night.  The cloud gods were
in control.

 

But I enjoyed the evening....and a special thanks to Ian..and any one
else.who helped me set up and take down...it was refractor night for me and
it was nice to have some help.  I appreciate it.  

 

There's always next weekend.  allen
