[Chaos-l] Medoc tonight , Saturday, weather?

Well, the CSC looks promising tonight and Saturday.  But once again there is a disconnect it would seem with the CSC and the local forecast. 



A look at WRAL seems to indicate that this system developing off Fl. may screw up the weather really good at the beach by Sat night, and Sunday.  They don't know of course.  But i think its safe to say the Friday and Saturday look to be the best bets at medoc.  But the WRAL forecast says 20% chance of rain at Medoc (Hollister) Saturday night.  



So I am going with tonight and plan to be at Medoc around 700 to 730pm.  I imagine there will be some campers and maybe I can do some outreach. If anyone can join me tonight let me know. 



then we'll see what the rest of the weekend holds.  



It's been an interesting spring thus far with the weather and not totally desirable.  Our yard is so wet right now that it squishes when i walk.  



Tonight looks like a pretty good bet with WRAL AND the CSC as the forecast is clear, and maybe not the best transparency but the moon is up, and maybe Saturn will look decent.  Would like to take some images with the Canon and my refractor.
