Well everyone, I wouldn't be surprised if they name the storm off the coast "Tropical Storm Lunt", because I think I'm the cause of it. My solar scope is delivered today.
It really is amazing. Right up until the time I learned it was ready to ship, the forecast for the weekend was great! Then I get the e-mail, and Greg Fishel starts "worrying" that there might be something off the coast. And when I get the tracking number, sure enough ... the forecasts turn for the worse.
And yes, because it is a telescope and not just an eyepiece or binocs, the storm will bother us, then turn south, and then turn north again for a second round!
Sorry guys ... at least it isn't the new moon weekend ...

But i think its safe to say the Friday and Saturday look to be the best bets at medoc. But the WRAL forecast says 20% chance of rain at Medoc (Hollister) Saturday night.
