[Chaos-l] Transit envy

I know I won't be able to travel far to work out a view of the Venus
transit.so after Alexey mentioned last night he had definite plans to an
ultimate destination I couldn't help but be "pea-green with envy" to quote
Scarlett O'Hara.

 

He is going where the pineapples grow and where coconut smells greet you as
you step off the plane, and as pretty girls in grass skirts place lei's
around your neck.

 

And where Mauna Kea sits on mountains that are high enough to ensure that
you can get above the clouds if need be.

 

A good trip to Alexey next week...if you have time.visit Pearl
Harbor....have always wanted to go there.  allen
