[Chaos-l] tonight

My mother and I went out to eat, and I never expected to head out observing.
But I did..really not expecting to do anything or even stay.  I rode to
Medoc as it was getting dark..and got there and thought maybe I'll just sit
here a while and enjoy the evening and go home.  

 

But the haze and clouds disappeared and when some folks came from the
campground to see something, I had to oblige.

 

Saturn if anything was better than last night.something the CSC did not
predict.  it also did not predict how transparent it would get.  M51 better
than last night.  I was able to show about 15 folks a tour around the sky
and they were amazed as usual.

 

Would have called Michael but it was already close to 930 when I decided to
stay.  So I thought I would go it alone and contact folks today..if Sunday
night looks good.
