[Chaos-l] last night and the transit

Last night Robert, Jason, and I had an enjoyable time at Medoc.  We had lots
of folks visit and look at Saturn and the moon..the seeing was very good.
Robert and I both used our refractors.

 

But the highlight was looking at the sun in the late afternoon through
Roberts new Lunt.  The detail was AMAZING.  If you get a chance to look
through it please take the opportunity.  I am glad that he received it in
time for the transit

 

Speaking of....I am planning to go to Medoc for that Tuesday.using my
Genesis SDF with the Coronado on the side.  I will be there shortly before
it starts.  If anyone is interested in joining me let me know.
