[Chaos-l] Solar filter safety

I wouldn't worry as long as it's not an "eyepiece filter."  But you are not
planning on using the 8" filter with your larger Obsession scope, are you?
It would be OK if you masked it but you do need to cover any "stray,
unfiltered sunlight" including finder scopes.  I don't use my "white light
solar filter" very much either but I bought it for the last Transit in 2004
and would like to make the purchase worth while this time around!  Walter
