[Chaos-l] tonight

It did seem to be all about luck. I started my saga at Medoc last night
star aligning my scope with few stars between clouds, only to find the
forecast had changed on me the next morning and I drove back and setup in
Chapel Hill at the last minute.

Set up my main scope w/ a glass solar filter, my second scope with a
sheet/film type solar filter, and my binoculars w/ sheet/film solar filters
at a public field in Chapel Hill near a friends house. We had about -- I
would guess 50 people and kids - that came by at one point or another.

Snapped a few shots, here's one of the best attached - at least the most
dramatic w/ clouds.

Surprisingly the binoculars were my favorite view, they gave the best
"sense" of the Sun, the clouds, and Venus passing in front of it.

One crazy moment, a plane passed in front of the Sun/transit for us!
