[Chaos-l] What was this transits Mile Stone

I was thinking what was the mile stone of this transit. 2004 would have been the most watched. This mile stone has 
to be the Most Photographed transit. so many people had their DSLRs and even cell phones held up to the eye piece. 

I wonder just how many millions or Billions of images were taken?
