[Chaos-l] Last nights meeting

It's June and anual dues are due. The dues are $25 and you can bring the family. 
  

Last nights meeting was very well attended. With the Carol Woods folks that came we were 
very close to 30 attendees. 

Jason Maron gave qreat talk on what aliens may look like or may not look like on other worlds. 

Amy Sayle from Morehead gave us a wrap up on the Venus Transit. I seems that the planetarium was 
 the place to be in the country. Currently Morehead is in 1st place with people who saw the transit with 
3000+ people. That's our own little competition, not an official one. It's an honor that CHAOS was able 
to participate. 

Several observing sessions are coming up this weekend. 

Stuanton River on Friday starting at 8pm. 
Medoc Mountain on Saturday beginning at 8:30. 

We have busy schedule over the summer so check the CHAOS calendar at www.chaosastro.org , 
you don't want to miss anything.
