Another day of watch and maybe see. It looks like the cloud may be moving
north
but that is the direction of the park. I'll make the final call by 4pm
today.
Yesterday I went to Wake Forest to the Girl Scout "Zoom to the Moon" and
gave a
simple power point presentation. The girls were great and asked a lot of
great questions.
I wish we could have shown them Saturn and more, but if it wasn't the
clouds it would have been
the lights. They had very tall parking lot lights. Really glaring.
Loren Herbert showed up at the end of my talk and together we gave them the
opportunity
to look through two different styles of telescopes. We were looking at some
traffic lights.
Loren wanted the girls to pay attention to the fact that you could see the
pattern on the lens
of the light but they were more concerned of the spider's web that covered
the yellow caution
light. I have to say, they were very observant.
Thanks Loren for making the trek to WF.
