Hi,

I'm a CHAOS listserve follower who was given a hand-me-down beginner's
telescope a year or two ago. Since then, I have had plans to join you all
for an observing session, but alas, I have not been able to find a good
time.

However, my wife and kids are leaving town, and my schedule
suddenly looks open next weekend (July 27 and 28). I wondered if any of you
are planning to go out with your scopes and if I can tag along to learn how
to use mine? I know very little about using a telescope, so I will have lots
of basic questions.
