Yeah, just a 15 inch dob not a 15' one! Haha

But that was over 22 years ago now..my gosh..that's how long I have been
observing seriously! allen

The way I figure it, at this point I need PHOTONS more than sleep

Hey, I used to be that way all the time. This has been a lesson for me this
bad weather. In the future, I won't be leaving Medoc or other observing
sessions as early. I intend the make the use of those clear nights if I
can.

Fall is coming, which is the time I really started observing in earnest
years ago, and hopefully with cooler weather the stars will return.

I always get sentimental come September, as that is when I went to the
mountains and ordered my first telescope, my 15' dob Starstorm 151 that you
guys rarely see. It started me on a journey, and I still have it.

Maybe tonight will be a TASTE of better things to come the next few weeks.

The CSC looking good for Medoc tonight for a CHANGE.

About as good as you will ever see. Hopefully its true. And WRAL says
CLEAR tonight.

I am going and I am going to set up the Obession and see SOMETHING for a
change if this is true.

Will be there till around midnight.

Be there or be square. allen
