Well, I guess I had the astronomy curse unfold yesterday and tonight, as I
got my recoated mirror back, and the weather, which was initially supposed
to be good, turned for the worse.  We have had so much rain here overnight
that our yard is literally a swamp.

 

I have checked forecasts, and it is hard to garner anything from them,
except, being the eternal optimist, it looks like there is a possibility at
Medoc of some observing after midnight.  Transparency not great, but steady
skies and clear, so maybe Jupiter would show itself to advantage.

 

Also, I checked other CSC's like I did yesterday, and while it looks similar
to Medoc, the forecasts actually say clear at Doughton Park on the parkway.

 

I am anxious to get this scope out and put it back together and see
SOMETHING.
