[Chaos-l] Last night

Mark Clegg and I went to Irma Hale's to get Don's telescope and were there
for about and hour and a half I think.  Don years ago had told me that he
wanted me to help sell that when he was gone, and Mark, being knowledgeable
about all things AstroPhysics is going to be setting up and testing it all
out.  Don had not used it in some time, but we got the equipment together
and we'll probably bring it to some events in October to show it to people.

 

I was later than Mark getting back to Medoc .had to go home first and get my
trailer.

 

But it was really strange showing up on full moon and seeing a string of
cars and scope in the field.  I went on and set up.I was just glad to see
clear skies.

Camp...Jason...Robert Nielsen..am I forgetting anyone?  Really a good
turnout for  full moon.I think we were a bunch of desperate observers.

 

Many left not too long after I was there, but Robert and I decided to stay
and look at Jupiter.  We sat around a while and relaxed and finally got a
look at Jupiter right above the trees.  WE stayed another hour .the seeing
never really settled down. It was a fair view but jumping a bit.  Still NICe
to see though.  We left around 400am.  A nice evening out.


As always, people make it worthwhile.glad you could come.


WE'll see if we can go out next weekend, and then our program is on the
15th.
