Yes,,, this is the sort of thing that is really exciting.  Sounds like the
"full moon" brightness might be relatively brief if it happens.  Comet
Ikeya-Seki reached magnitude -10 when it was in the daylight sky near the
sun and was visible in the sky next to the sun.  Wonder what that was like?

Early predictions say that in late 2013, this comet could be brighter in the
night sky than the full moon and possibly visible during the day. Sounds
very exciting, although I can't help but think of how it could ruin deep-sky
observing for an extended period.
