All,
I have some equipment to sell and looking to buy a couple things too. Any
interest? I'll be at SRSP too - although not sure what I'll be observing
with yet! :)
*Looking for the following items... *Would really prefer to buy local,
especially the mount due to shipping weight*:*
- A cooled (preferrably regulated) mono CCD. I'm trying to find an Atik
314L+ but will consider other CCDs but trying to keep the cost reasonable.
- A goto mount capable of holding a C11 (astrophotography quality) with
a ST-80 piggybacked. Thinking Atlas or CGEM costwise but open to others
with similar price ranges as well.
*Main things I want to sell:*
- *Celestron C8*. Black tube. *XLT Starbright* coatings. Used, but in
good condition - the usual dust as I dont like to clean until needed.
I'll add in a few accessories too, like bob's knobs, a bhatinov mask, vixen
style dovetail, telrad base, and an 8x50 finder. I think I have the box,
but need to check the attic... It has performed really well for me! I do
not think this model is hyperstar compatible. $450
- *Meade ETC-90EC* with *autostar controller plus tripod *(in carrying
bag). In original box with all documentation. I dont remember which
eyepieces came with it, but will include a couple plossls. Haven't used
much at all in several years, but remember very good color in planetary
viewing. $250
- *Stellacam III* (non-cooled CCD). Will include the Dazzle DVC-100 A2D
converter for this price. Asking $500 (
http://www.optcorp.com/product.aspx?pid=9051&kw=stellacam&st=2)
- *Moonlite CS* (SCT focuser) with locking "tri-knob" and focal reducer
fits "inside" , blue exterior. Purchased last year, not used a lot as it
is great for CCDs, but limited backfocus at f/6.3 for DSLR imaging - Asking
$325 (

)
Drop me an email (off list) if interested!
Thanks,
Matt Lochansky
