[Chaos-l] MASP will be missed

Thanks Terry. Just saw an email from John Chappell who I believe works for
the newspaper in Robbins. There always were a lot of locals who visited the
site and observed with us on Friday and Saturday.

It really does upset me to think about those folks not having us there.
They always were so appreciative. Even last year, after all the complaining
and relatively low turnout, there were a LOT of people from the surrounding
area who came and enjoyed the views and said so.

It really bothers me. allen

I, too, am an occaissional local observer so far. I heartily second Kumar's
reaction to Allen's fine eulogy for MASP.
It does make me feel as though I'd been there over the years with y'all.
Thanks, Allen. :-)

Hi Allen,

I have been a peripheral member of CHAOS for a few years now. I have never
met you, nor have I ever gone to MASP, Pettigew, Medoc, Stuanton River - I
have only viewed from Farrington Boat Ramp of Jordan Lake. However I very
much enjoy your posts. Most especially your last post about MASP being
missed. Reading it, somehow it felt as real as it was *I* who had visted
MASPs all those years, and that those were *my* friends that will be
cherished and missed. Thank you for a very thoughtful and heart-felt post.

Best,

Kumar
