I'm going to tentatively thrown my hat in the ring as well. I'd like to
spend some serious time learning to drift align so I can do longer exposure
imaging.

Subject: [Chaos-l] Medoc this weekend
A number of folks mentioned going to Medoc this weekend and I am game. I
had planned to go the the MASP of course, but we all know that isn't
possible. So we'll have a MSP. Medoc Star Party. That's MASP with a lisp.
But really a number of you did mention it, and I am willing to go both
nights this weekend if the weather permits, starting on Friday.
I am still off today, and will run around doing errands and doing a few
things for my mother this morning, and then I may actually head to Medoc
this afternoon to hike a little.
I used Sunday afternoon to clean out my trailer and I don't recognize it.
I rarely set everything up and a star party is usually the perfect
opportunity to get things reorganized.
What a wonderful last few days that have really gotten me in the mood for
more. With a little rest in between. Love this fall weather and the fall
skies.
The fall skies are special to me, as that is really when I started observing
seriously, and when I got my first scope from Leon knott, and when I met my
first friend in all this, Tim. I always feel sentimental when the sun's
angle closes and the gold and reds are in the trees, and when Sagittarius is
still visible, and Orion is heading our way.
Time for a fire Jason!
Ryan at the park has also mentioned something in December with which we
might be able to assist. I'll let you know more about that shortly. allen
