[Chaos-l] Jordan Lake observing session

We had a good group of folks maybe 100 folks come out to observe with us.
The moon put on a good showing early on and we waited until it got dark
enough to move to some of the fainter objects. I believe Joe Peditt or Mike
Gallagher was able to bring in Mars.

We were able to see M13, M57 and M31 before we were blindsided by clouds.
Then it was sucker hole city.

All in all it was a good night to show the public the wonders of the
heavens. Then enthusiasm wasn't squelched by the person who said, "So why
does anyone want to look into space. It's just a bunch of emptiness."

Fortunately, everyone else was amazed and in awe.
