[Chaos-l] Geminids event

Two events are now posted on the Medoc web page.  The Geminid meteor event
for Dec 13th and the regular public observing session for Dec 15th.

 

If I can make it that Thurs for a while, I will, but being Thurs, it is
doubtful I can make it long if it all.

 

Ryan Newsome at the park informed me of this other event about three or four
weeks ago, since it appears that RAC is putting that on.  He wanted to know
if he should advertise the both together or apart.I told him it really
didn't matter, but I thought if he just posted the events separately folks
could figure it out.

 

I saw that Matt also forwarded a message about the meteor event to the CHAOS
group so they'll know.  Since the CHAOS folks are gracious enough to have me
on their mailing list, I saw that.

 

I will say that I would have NEVER known about the Geminid event had it not
been for Ryan emailing me personally,  or if Matt hadn't mentioned it.
Thanks to both of you for mentioning this to me, and now I post it on here
in case anyone is interested.
