[Chaos-l] Saturday

As it turned out, only Jason, Jim Palermo, and I were there Saturday night.  Jason and i hiked for about two hours from about 330 to 530 Saturday.  a very nice day.  We were coming back as it was getting dark, and started to build a fire.  Jason had that going in short order, and as we were watching the flames grow, we noticed someone setting up.  It was Jim. 



i decided to play it lazy, and did not set up anything...instead I bummed off of Jim and got some nice views of M15, Carolnes Rose, and also Jupiter.  A father and his two girls visited and they obviously enjoyed looking through the telescope. 



Jason and I spent more time at the fire than observing, and a nice fire it was,...i had a couple of piecs of old big wood that we also burned...and enought fire was left for Jim to enjoy later.  Jason and I left quite early, as clouds were moving in.  



But it was nice hike and evening time.... 



I hope to see some of you Saturday. 



I will not be able to go to the meteor watch Thursday night.  allen
