sorry for the late reply.  i haven't used the IPAQ that Robert remembered for over about a year and a half now at least.  ever since i started using Sky Safari. 



I used an IPAQ from HP for years with my Tak setup...both the Em200 mount and the NJP temma 2.  I used the Pocket Sky via a Bluetooth connection, with a serial wireless adapter from Socket.  It actually worked pretty well, not as elegant or streamlined as with Sky Safari on the IPAd or Macbook, but still...it did work. 



I don't know what the last version of CE i was using...it was whatever was current two summers ago.  also, i don't believe i ever downloaded an ASCOM driver...i used whatever was in the Pocket Sky and or windows ce at the time. 



I used this a LONG time...i bought the IPAQ about the same time I purchased my Tak setup, which is now almost 9 years ago.  but i kept CE updated up until i stopped using it about a year and half ago.
