If the weather holds I am definitely interested, provided I can get my telescope ready. I have been tuning it up over xmas.   


I discovered that one of the adjustment screws on my focuser is frozen.  I am letting it soak with some WD40 etc.  and will give it another try later this week.   


Also took off the mirror and carefully dusted it with air ( it needed it after a couple of years! )    Blowing the inside of the telescope out was a worthy thing, lots of lint and dust in there - well, optically speaking.  A normal person would have called it pretty clean.

Weather Friday looks good still,,, clear and cold....there will be a fire.  This time of year, we get to make full use of the facilities at Medoc including that great fireplace.  ( I really wonder sometimes what the pile of wood would look like if i could see what's gone up the chimney at Medoc over the last twenty years.)
