Thanks, Jayme--you gave us some pretty decent skies! Also, a thank you to Randy Young, for bringing a scope to add to the 3 we brought. We ended up with an enthusiastic crowd at the lake, ~150-175 people.

So as I told Amy, I am going to back out for tonight because it was cloudy and we had rain. In doing so, I insured clear skies for everyone else. Now it has cleared off and looks nice. My plan has worked out nicely. Bwahaha!

Amy, I am going to gracefully bow out for tonight. It is a long way to drive for maybe some clear skies. Of course now it will be perfectly clear. You all have fun.

Hi, everyone -

We're going to go ahead with the public skywatching session tonight from 6-8 p.m. at Jordan Lake, Ebenezer Church Recreation Area. Hope to see some of you there (and we hope to see some of the sky, too . . . )
