Looks like they will also be showing dramatic astronomy photos on a
screen during the performance.
This is a great piece that is very accessible and enjoyable even for
people who don't normally go to see the orchestra. There are also the
two pieces from the beginning of 2001 Space Odyssey, some Star Wars
music, and a Star Trek medley. So I think this could easily be
categorized as "Classical Pops".

I'll certainly try to be at one of the performances. There is a
substantial discount for groups of 10+, and I'm happy to help make
that happen if there is enough interest.
