I suspect it's real. Sky and Telescope shows photos like that with
either the Sun or Moon frequently and the sizes are about right. For
those who saw Venus leisurely transit the Sun last yr and are thinking
about trying to take a picture of the ISS like this it's important to
realize that you have about one second to do it (someone in CHAOS
probably knows the exact transit time - Tony or Robert?). I was
tempted to try such a photo myself until I heard that and recognized
my limitations. Glad someone somewhere can do it. Of course I'm not
trying to talk anyone out of trying but a slight error puts another
try a few months off. Walter
