Joe,
Well, I wouldn't say it was *visible* ... I tried visually observing it (albeit with a 4.2" refractor) right after sunset and never could pick it out. But I could catch it with a DSLR on the back of the scope.
It was (and still is) in Ursa Minor ... dimming very quickly. We're seeing it as it heads out over our north pole.
