ah. so you had motor control on an equatorial mount and were 
shooting blind.

I had told all my friends (for who I'm their astronomy 
expert) that they were going to miss out on this one unless 
they went to the Andaman Is. I was going to have to mail 
them your picture and say "guess what!".
