Oh no, the price will be in line with the target application...
astronomical...

I'm not sure they did anything drastic with this sensor. Upping the size of
the photoreceptors is something known to reduce noise. That being said,
it's a full-frame sensor at approx 1920x1080. We should expect, with no
other data, there to be very little noise on it.
