Holy Photon Snatcher Batman!  This camera is sensitive enough to video the Moon's light pollution!!!  (O.K. just an off-colour joke about Moonlight for us non-lunar astronomy enthusiasts!)
 
Richard Crisp was right - back in 2010 he said in three or four years CMOS sensors will equal then surpass CCD chips for astronomical imaging.  Could this be the year we reach that point?
Of course, he also said the CMOS 'should' be less expensive than the CCD but I'm sure if it's astronomically-labeled you can expect the same for pricing!!
