[Chaos-l] Staunton River Star Party

Indeed, the three evenings were as good as you could hope for in every
respect. Thank to Robert and Jayme for all the work they did to pull
it off, and of course the park staff are amazing. They not only work
their tails off to make it happen; they're friendly and chipper even
after the graveyard shift in the cafe.

The weather was spectacular. Clear sky, first two nights completely
free of dew, cold but not crazy cold, and lovely during the day. The
facilities are great, the sky is dark, and there were a lot of people
in attendance. The public turnout was pretty solid on Saturday night
as well.

GREAT start party, and I think everyone left looking forward to
October. Given how successful this weekend was and also last October,
this coming October might have a monster turnout.
