[Chaos-l] [Medoc-mountain-men] Comet!

Went comet hunting as well, oddly enough I left my Levy Comet Hunter at
home and took my AstroView 120ST as it's just light enough for a camera
tripod. Had trouble finding a good spot and decided to try Hank Anderson
Community Park in Carrboro, but the horizon was tree obscured. Met a fellow
named Warner who was comet hunting as well (by the way he'll be at the
Jordan Lake session and maybe the Little River session too) so we trekked
down 54 a bit and pulled over once we got a line on the crescent moon. The
car lights were blinding, but we were able to observe the comet for about
15 minutes before it set.

I did my best to get some pictures, but the lights wreaked havoc on them.
I've attached the single best image of the night. Hopefully it makes it to
the list. I'll upload a coupe to my astrobin.com page in a few:

Cheers,
Mark
