[Chaos-l] Tuesdays special meeting

OK, This is another reminder that the April CHAOS meeting will be held THIS
Tuesday, April 2nd at the Seymour Senior Center in Chapel Hill. The Address
is 2552 Homestead Rd. The meeting will start at 6:30pm.

There will NOT be a meeting on April 9th at Carol Woods.

We are meeting with the Central Carolina Mineral club. They have a guest
speaker Astronomer,
Dr. Clark R. Chapman of the Southwest Research Institute in Boulder
Colorado.

There  will be a short meeting prior to the speaker. This is our election
month for club officers.
President, Vice President, Treasurer and Secretary positions need to be
elected. So please come and cast your vote.

We are also taking nominations for officers here on this forum. So please
make your nominations.

CHAOS has been invited to assist RAC with an observing event at the Boy
Scout Camp, Durant. More info will follow tomorrow.

April 5th is the State Wide Star Party. It should like it's going to be a
fun event. There are many places looking for Amateur Astronomers to help
out with their event. Mickey and Amy will tell us where we are needed.
CHAOS is covering a large area and it makes me proud to be a member of this
club.
