My wife saw it, from the Cary High School soccer field, but I missed it.
I saw one in the early 1990s, out in Seattle. Pretty cool.

All,
Large, (practically) daylight meteor (fireball?) at 7:51 pm (give or take a
minute) from Durham NC looking south, moving east to west. Bright green head, short golden trail with gold bits breaking away. Maybe a two or three second duration. Witnessed by three people, including myself. We had just finished looking (in vane) for an Iridium flare, and we saw something much better!
Did anyone else see it?
